STEFANO DALLA VALENTINA

Stefano Dalla Valentina was born in Murano in 1974. He attended the factory of his father Adriano when he was very young, carrying out various tasks, both in the forge and in the grinding department. After graduating from the Institute of Art in Venice, in 1991 he has entered definitively as a designer in his father’s furnace.

Stefano attends painting, sculpture, engraving and decoration courses, his works are exhibited in important events and as many museums, including Doges’ Palace in Venice, the cloister of Bramante in Rome and on several occasions in Murano Glass Museum.

In love with the sea and diving instructor, he takes his cue from the underwater world for the creation of new works. For many years he has been collaborating with the Natural History Museum as part of the International Underwater Photography competition City of Venice; in 2014 he exhibited “Wreck with Sharks”, in 2015 he made a tribute to Jules Verne, a life-size diver diving suit. This allows him to combine his greatest passions: sea, sharks and glass, of course.
